Electric Winch Kappa 2.3 tons

The horntools Kappa 5.0 combines 2.3 tons of pulling capacity with a particularly compact design. This makes it suitable for both compact off-road vehicles and boat trailers, mobile applications and various pulling and recovery tasks.

Compact winch for off-road vehicles and boat trailers

With 2.3 tons of pulling capacity, the Kappa 5.0 is ideal for compact off-road vehicles such as the Suzuki Jimny, Lada Niva or Jeep Renegade. Its space-saving design allows integration even where only little space is available for larger vehicle winches.

At the same time, the Kappa is suitable for use on trailers and boat trailers – for example, for controlled pulling of a boat onto the trailer.

Versatile applications

The combination of compact design and 2.3 tons of pulling capacity makes the Kappa 5.0 a versatile winch for vehicles, leisure and work.

Typical areas of use include:

• Self-recovery of compact off-road vehicles
• Off-road and work applications
• Use on a boat trailer
• Pulling a boat onto the trailer
• Pulling tasks on trailers
• Hunting and forestry work
• Mobile mounting on a suitable carrier
• Mounting on a pick-up truck bed
• Pulling and moving loads along the ground

2.3 tons of pulling capacity in a compact format

Despite its compact dimensions, the Kappa 5.0 offers a maximum pulling capacity of 2.3 tons. Stainless steel crossbars, a reinforced rope drum and the powder-coated aluminum die-cast housing ensure a robust construction.

The internal drum brake with three brake shoes supports controlled operation. Thanks to the removable control unit, the controls can be positioned flexibly to suit the respective installation situation.

A corded remote control and a wireless remote control are already included in the scope of delivery, enabling flexible control of the winch.
