Whether it’s a compact car, an off-road vehicle or a camper van – the new horntools Cloud roof tent fits almost any vehicle with only 60 kg weight. We developed the Cloud as an aluminum triangle roof tent from scratch and considered everything that matters: with a 140 cm sleeping area, the triangle roof tent is ideal for 2–3 people. Despite its extremely low height of just 12.5 cm when closed, blankets or sleeping bags can remain inside the tent. Thanks to a smart mechanism, the tent creates an additional height of 25 cm in the foot area when opened, providing even more comfort. In addition to the entrance, the triangle roof tent is equipped with four windows including mosquito nets.
Very quick setup in under 3 minutes
The triangle roof tent can be set up in no time and in under 3 minutes, even on your own. Simply open the four latches and push the tent upwards – the gas struts will automatically do the rest. Then insert the support poles for the canopy and you’re ready for your adventure!
Large roll-up canopy for additional protection
We deliberately equipped the Cloud triangle roof tent with a large canopy at the entrance and in front of the windows, providing extensive protection. At its widest point, the canopy extends 70 cm from the tent. In good weather, it can be rolled up and easily secured at the top using the designated fastening loops.
One of the flattest roof tents when closed
With the Cloud, we have developed a very flat triangle roof tent that adds only 12.5 cm in height to your vehicle roof when closed. This low height minimizes air resistance while driving and optimizes fuel consumption.
With ventilation option and optional heater inlet
Above the main entrance, there is an additional ventilation opening that can be opened and closed in no time. For optimal airflow, the window in the foot area is opened – this allows cold air to flow into the tent from below while warm air escapes at the top, creating the perfect climate inside the tent.
There is also an optional heater inlet in the foot area. In colder camping situations, warm air can easily be directed into the tent using a portable parking heater.
Roof rack for Cloud roof tent
The optional roof rack for Cloud roof tent expands your setup with additional storage space directly on top of the tent. This allows you to make optimal use of the available space while staying flexible – whether traveling, overlanding or in everyday use.
With up to 25 kg load capacity, you can safely store transport boxes, recovery gear or other equipment without taking up space inside your vehicle. Despite the added setup, the total height remains compact at just 19.5 cm.

The delivery also includes practical details such as an interior organizer, a shoe bag, locking mechanisms for the gas springs, and comprehensive operating and care instructions. Optional accessories can be added at any time, but are not required for use.
